Radiant
Radiant wood burning fireplaces allow for the option of bringing finishing material right up to the firebox opening, mimicking the appearance of a masonry fireplace. These models are very resilient against normal wear and tear, but please be aware that you cannot cover the grilles on the fireplace as this may create a fire hazard.
Benefit: Reduces cold air infiltration even when the fireplace is not in use. |
